The Y-Head Corvette

Discovered by Robert Brown and Curtis Saxton

Y-Head (bottom) and "Dreadnought" (top)
Captured at 1600x1200 from RotJ CAV Laserdisc

Are these two ships the same? Perhaps. They bear some resemblence to each other. The bow of both ship are particularly similiar. Plus, the wings on the Y-Head would be difficult to distinguish from the hull of the vessel when shown in profile. Whereas Brown and Saxton believe the Y-Head to be rather sharply angular I see it as having more or less rounded features. (Disagreeing with Saxton? I must be nuts!)

However, I am unable to reconcile the "seconday" wing structures that appear on the right side of the ship as it moves away from the Death Star.

Y-head

Is this simply a trick of lighting that makes it appear as though there is a "secondary" wing? I have to assume that it is not.
